From Burnout to Freedom: How I Started Building Passive Income

I never imagined I’d be the one walking away from a “good” job.

For over two decades, I played by the rules—steady paycheck, climbing the ladder, doing everything I thought I was supposed to do. But under the surface, I was living paycheck to paycheck, with no savings for retirement, and constantly asking myself: Is this really it?

I felt stuck.
I was exhausted.
And I was starting to lose myself in a life that looked “secure” on paper but didn’t feel anything like freedom.

The Breaking Point

It wasn’t one big moment that made me finally leave. It was a thousand small ones.

👉 Having to go back into the office full-time after working from home the last several years.

👉 Sitting in traffic, not getting a chance to go on a morning/evening walk.
